South Florida People of Color (SFPoC) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit racial healing organization. Dedicated to disrupting racism and bigotry by providing creative programs for open dialogue and personal interaction across the racial, ethnic and cultural divides. After experiencing an Awkward Dinner put on by South Florida People of Color, Reverend Tom has participated in many of SFPoC’s programs learning more about himself and new ways of disrupting racism. Dr. Hobbs will share with us more about why she is part of this organization and the work the do here in South Florida.
