Dade County Folk Club Song Swap 06 (ER)
Join us Sunday, June 12 right here at UU for the monthly Dade County Folk Club Song Swap. The Song Swap takes place 5:30-8:30 p.m. in the Emerson Room—and you’re invited as a performer or listener.
The Song Swap follows a simple protocol: Performers (musicians, poets, even storytellers) take turns (avg. 5 min.) as we rotate around the circle. Music + Light Fare + Connection = Community. Some performers appreciate accompaniment (singing/instrument), others prefer “solo”.
The June session will celebrate “Juneteenth” and freedom songs.
We start and end promptly, both in-person and Zoom. Join us when you can. *We adhere to UUCM policy for masking.
