Humanist Talk: On Being a Humanist and Caring for Animals (via Zoom)
In this talk, Dr. Aleksandra Hernandez will discuss J.M. Coetzee’s Elizabeth Costello where humanistic values are extended to include the members of other species. In particular, she will analyze the novel’s message concerning the current state of our relationship to animals and how we might move forward.
