March in Unity (Off-Campus)

May 15th 3:00 p.m. starting at Freedom Tower in Downtown Miami and ending at the Underline.
There will be parking available Miami Dade College.
Join Reverend Tom on this march for religious and cultural unity in Miami.
Wear your Side with Love T-shirts (if you don’t have one ask Rev. Tom about getting one).
The march will officially begin at 3:45 p.m. People are expected to make it to The Underline (right near Brickell station) by 4:40 p.m. At that point, there will be a performance by Guitars Over Guns followed by speeches from The Honorable Mayor Levine Cava and other key figures. The event ends at 6PM. Water will be provided. You might bring camp chair for sitting during the program at the Underline. Reverend Tom will be speaking during the program.
With an eye toward inspiring unity and cooperation across the public, MCCJ met with South Florida community leaders and organizations to form an alliance that will embody the belief that we’re better off united, regardless of race, color, religion, origin, and political affiliation. Yearning for the days when people had constructive conversations despite having differences and determined to bring those days back to vibrant life, this newly formed alliance is inviting the community to join in their efforts.
