May Day All Ages Festivity & Farewell to the Kirchner-Malones
Beltane, also referred to as May Day, marks the halfway point between the spring equinox and summer solstice.
This year, the festival also coincides with the culmination of the children’s class, Natural Beings in a Natural World, and our farewell celebration for Chris Kirchner and Michael Malone.
Much merriment to be had!
After the conclusion of the Worship Service, follow the sidewalk through the Religious Exploration (RE) building to the covered picnic area.
Children can enjoy relay races and playground games within the fenced perimeter, and then our youth will be invited to complete a Pagan-themed scavenger hunt throughout our wooded grounds.
All are invited to enjoy a grilled lunch of hotdogs and plant-based burgers (Suggested donations of $5 per person). Finally, we honor this Pagan festival with a maypole dance near the fire pit.
The farewell in honor of Chris Kirchner and Michael Malone will be held immediately following.
All are welcome, and we look forward to seeing you there!
