Music & Meaning Worship Service (In-Person)

A note about summer worship services: Here at UU Miami we embrace multiple ways of knowing as sources of deep spiritual truth. Services in the month of July will explore experiences of transcendent mystery and wonder through artistic mediums. In lieu of the typical protestant-style worship service, all in attendance will be invited to reconsider the ways in which we live out our UU principles on Sunday mornings via a series of interactive workshops. Plato writes, “Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.” Join us for a celebration of the tunes that have served as the soundtrack to your lives as we sing along and discuss musical selections submitted by our very own UU Miami members.
