Children develop a strong sense of self through their life experiences, culture, and interactions with others. At every stage of life, we ponder on who we are as individuals (e.g., “I am an animal lover,” or “Am I a good person?”) and in different roles (e.g., “I am a Doctor,” or “What is the right career for me?”). Each of us is unique, possessing our own thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. However, we don’t shape our identities on our own. We need to explore, learn, and draw from experiences to truly understand ourselves.
Our “Exploring Ourselves” Program is designed to guide children in developing resilience, offering unwavering support during life’s adversities, and empowering each child to embark on their personal quest for purpose and significance. Through engaging activities such as storytelling, music, art, movement, discussions, and play, kids will have the opportunity to explore their own identity, appreciate diverse perspectives, and develop respect for themselves and others. This approach aims to cultivate a passion for truth-seeking, spirituality, and progressive moral values, providing a strong foundation to support our children as they mature.
