Then something astonishing happens. The caterpillar stops. It hangs in stillness. Inside the chrysalis, its body begins to dissolve. Structure gives way to mystery. From the outside, nothing appears to be happening.
We know these seasons. The in-between times. When clarity disappears. When the old life has ended but the new life has not yet taken shape. When we feel suspended. Our culture urges us to rush through uncertainty. But the chrysalis teaches patience. It teaches surrender.
What if the in-between is not wasted time? What if dissolving is part of becoming? What if stillness is not stagnation, but sacred work unfolding beneath the surface? This week we practice trusting what we cannot yet see.
