The old story tells of a hungry village where every door stayed shut, until a stranger set a pot on the fire and dropped in a single stone. One neighbor spared a carrot. Another found an onion. Soup happened. Hope works the same way. It is a willingness to stay open to what is still forming, and it needs your one ingredient to form at all. This Sunday we close the series by making stone soup together. Bring a vegetable, a can of beans, a handful of herbs, whatever your kitchen can spare, and we will turn it into a common meal. Hope is something we cook together.
