When government shuts down, it is not just a political pause but a moral failure. Programs like SNAP, which feed millions, become collateral damage in partisan games, revealing how indifferent leadership has grown to human need. This Sunday we begin our month of reflection by naming that indifference and reclaiming the act of feeding one another as sacred work. Members will share personal reflections on finding a spiritual home at UUMiami and how our community embodies compassion in action.
