Sometimes Unitarian Universalists think they are the most different religion there is because we look within for truth and meaning rather than from a texts, clergy, or traditions. In fact, our Unitarian Universalist’s fourth Principle is to affirm and promote “A free and responsible search for truth and meaning.” But today, Unitarian Universalists are being encouraged to be different in a new way– to address issues of race within our congregations and in our denomination.
