Worship Service: “Why Horror Is Important” by Derrick Mustelier, MDiv (in person and on YouTube)
Horror films and horror stories have long been considered the ugly stepchildren of cinema, television, and literature. However, they have also just as long been a bastion for exploring transgressive or challenging themes, plumbing the depths of the darker aspects of life, and even social commentary. Today we explore why horror stories are so important and what they have to show us about our world and ourselves.
Sunday Services are held in-person in our Sanctuary and Livestreamed on YouTube
