What Does Working For Justice And Equity In Our Everyday Lives Looks Like?
Rev. Tom Capo
Dr. Cornel West says that “justice is what love looks like in public.” In the proposed Article 2 for the Unitarian Universalist Association, the value of Justice is when: “We work to be diverse multicultural Beloved Communities where all thrive. We covenant to dismantle racism and all forms of systemic oppression. We support the use of inclusive democratic processes to make decisions within our congregations, our Association, and society at large” How might we live this understanding of Justice in our lives and in this congregation?
