Join UU Miami for the first of four UU Climate Justice Revival Dialogs where we will revive our commitment to climate justice.
In this Sunday’s Service, we begin with a moment of faithful grounding and intention setting, then the dialogs start with a Collective Imagining to cast our minds far into the future — a future that no one really knows, but we can all creatively, purposefully imagine.
During our Imagining, we’ll cast our minds forward to 2050 and envision our community thriving — everyone flourishing, with justice and love at the center. This powerful imagining can provide a North star for our work, offering a constant reminder of a future that we are called to fully realize.
During the service, there will be moments of meditation, music, dialog, and drawing. Everyone will get to draw their own Rich Pictures of our Community Thriving and then contribute to a larger, collective drawing that we can use as inspiration for the subsequent services. (Note: skill in drawing and sketching are not required!!)
Join us live in the sanctuary or Live Stream on our YouTube Channel.
About The UU Climate Justice Revival Dialogs
Together, in these active and engaging sessions taking place Sunday mornings from July 27 to August 17, we will explore frameworks at the intersection of climate and justice, allowing us to weave together the threads that link our deepest commitments. The UU Climate Revival empowers UU congregations to embrace a new era of climate action, one that intentionally and faithfully breaks down silos and cultivate relationships that transform our communities through climate justice.
