Making Connections On The Challenging Realities & Building Capacity With Community Care
“Remember to imagine and craft the worlds you cannot live without just as your dismantle the one you cannot live within.” -Ruha Benjamin
We will see you at UU Miami for the second of four UU Climate Justice Revival Dialogs where we will revive our commitment to climate justice.
Last week we used Collective Imagining to define the future we want to realize, our North Star.
Just as we must hold that North star, we also need to Make Connections on the Challenging Realities of our times, locally in Miami and South Florida, and in the context of oppression experienced here. And then we will Build Capacity for Community Care by grounding ourselves in the Challenging Realities while equally holding our Collective Imagining in our hearts and minds. This way we shift to what is possible with a spirit of gratitude and hope.
This Sunday we will ground our conversations in our local context and climate as an intersectional justice issue. In preparation for the service, please CLICK HERE to watch Side With Love’s Climate at the Intersections Video Series.
We’ll also respond to the Challenging Realities we identify with corresponding possibilities for community care – grounded in a faithful, joyful, and fun way!

About The UU Climate Justice Revival Dialogs
Together, in these active and engaging sessions taking place Sunday mornings from July 27 to August 17, we will explore frameworks at the intersection of climate and justice, allowing us to weave together the threads that link our deepest commitments. The UU Climate Revival empowers UU congregations to embrace a new era of climate action, one that intentionally and faithfully breaks down silos and cultivate relationships that transform our communities through climate justice.
