There are moments in life when you can feel it before you can name it.
A restlessness. A dissatisfaction. A yearning. A sense that something no longer fits the way it used to. Nothing is dramatically wrong, and yet something inside you knows that you are not meant to remain exactly as you are.
Over the next seven weeks, we will enter a shared journey called Metamorphosis. Together, we will explore transformation through the life cycle of the butterfly as a mirror for our own becoming. The caterpillar does not become a butterfly by trying harder. It grows. It sheds. It surrenders. It dissolves. It waits. And eventually, it flies.
This journey is not about self-improvement. It is about honesty. It is about noticing what has shaped us and asking ourselves what we may have outgrown. It is about learning to trust the unseen work unfolding beneath the surface of our lives. And it is about remembering that transformation is not something we accomplish alone. We become together.
In our first week, The Hunger to Become, we begin at the beginning. Before there are wings, there is appetite. The caterpillar eats constantly. It grows rapidly. It outgrows its skin again and again. What looks excessive is actually preparation.
What if the parts of you that feel restless right now are not signs of failure? What if they are signs of growth?
Before we ever shed, before we ever surrender, we must first acknowledge our hunger. The desires that shaped us. The identities that protected us. The ambitions that carried us this far. We will begin not by criticizing who we have been, but by honoring it.
As you prepare for this first week, I invite you to sit with one simple question:
Where in your life do you feel a hunger for something more true, more real, more authentic?
You do not need to solve it. Just notice it.
Metamorphosis has already begun.
